Entrapment is a legal concept that typically refers to situations where law enforcement (or someone acting on behalf of the government) induces a person to commit a crime they otherwise would not have committed. Laws and tests for entrapment vary by jurisdiction.
For private citizens, attempting to trick or coerce someone into committing a crime (or pretending to be a minor to solicit sexual content via speaking sexually to someone and without police working with you) is dangerous, and can expose you to serious legal risk.
What we advise you fellow private civilians avoid for your safety:

Do not provoke, or coerce someone into illegal activity.
Do not record, publish, or circulate private conversations as evidence without reporting them to the police first: https://tips.fbi.gov/home You may, however, record, publish, or circulate cesored private conversations only after the fbi has convicted them on youtube only and you may only publish and share these private conversations to warn the public about the individual. You are not allowed to share inapropriate photos.

If you suspect grooming or illegal sexual behavior — what to do
Do NOT engage. Stop the conversation. Do not reply or bait the person.
Preserve evidence. Save chat logs, timestamps, profile URLs, and any media without editing it. (Keep originals.) Take screenshots. You are allowed to investigate with the help of police.
It is better to report to the police than to me personally. I am only one person. I will gladly accept applications to be a moderator. the only reason you should report this to me is so i can ban them and that is it. i am the only moderator.
