Instead of selling your cars because you believe the rapture is coming, set up a Rapture will that only comes in effect after you are raptured if you are raptured.

Listen — I’ll say this plainly and calmly.

If you hear someone online claiming the Rapture is coming right now, do not panic. Don’t sell everything. Don’t hurt yourself. Instead, if you’re worried, repent and ask Jesus to save you. That’s the safe, sensible thing to do.

We don’t know the date or time of the Rapture. People online will make guesses and spread wild claims. Those guesses can make you scared or confused. If you feel emotional or panicked, stop, take a breath, and calm down. Emotions make it hard to think clearly.

Here’s how to think reasonably about this:

  1. Pause and calm down. If you read a scary post or hear someone say a specific date, pause. Wait until you’re not upset. Then think logically.

  2. Use common sense. Don’t act from fear. Don’t sell your car, give away your house, or harm yourself over internet prophecies. If you make big moves based on a rumor, you could be the one who loses out — especially if the Rapture never happens.

  3. A practical idea — make a conditional will. If you’re worried about preparing for the Rapture, write a will that only takes effect if you die or are raptured. Example language: “If I am raptured (or if I die), then I want X to go to Y.” That way:

    • If the Rapture happens, your wishes are clear.

    • If the Rapture doesn’t happen, you still keep your house, car, and money. It’s a safe legal tool so you don’t have to sell everything now.

  4. If you’re not sure you’re saved — pray. Repent of your sins. Pray the sinner’s prayer. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and to come into your life and agknowledge and believe that he died for your sins and rose again three days later fromt he dead. It only takes a moment to repent — that’s better than doing nothing. Don’t harm yourself; pray instead.

  5. If you have mental health issues, ask for help. People with bipolar disorder, paranoia, or other conditions may struggle to reason under stress. Reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, or a mental-health professional. Don’t try to handle intense fear alone.

  6. Fact-check wild claims. If someone online says “the Rapture is on [date],” check the bible and obey only the bible because that is where we get our base information of christianity from. Don’t rely on panic posts or internet prophets.

To sum up: stop acting from fear, take practical steps (like a conditional will), and if you’re worried about your salvation — repent and pray. That’s the simple, safe response.
